Pollinators & Honey Bee Mix

Pollinators, including honey bees, are declining at an alarming rate with potentially disastrous consequences. You can help protect our pollinators with mixes designed using the best science available.

Wildflower Meadow Mix

Meadow mixes developed to produce a succession of bright flowers throughout the growing season. Our Wildflower Meadow mixes are developed considering 14 different environmental factors to insure success.

Landscape and Design Mixes

Landscapes developed with native plants are visually exciting and restfully beautiful at the same time. Native plants can provide a solution to nearly any landscape problem on your property.

Wetland Mixes

Such sites as pond edges, ditches and depressions, low lying areas, floodplain meadows, and boggy areas all need specialty wetland tolerant species. Each of these environments need a different group of wetland plants because of such things as water depth and period of time submerged.

Riparian Mixes

Shaded borders, steep slopes, boggy areas, and running water are just a few of the challenges of vegetating riparian areas. Quick growing cover species and shade tolerant species are some of the elements of our successful Riparian Mixes.

Monarch Butterfly Mixes

Monarch Butterflies are being considered for listing under the Endangered Species Act. We developed Monarch mixes that have the ingredients paramount for the survival of this beautiful and amazing creature.

Erosion Control Mixes

Erosion Control mixes need to establish quickly, put down soil holding roots, and prepare the soil for establishment and growth of permanent vegetative cover. Our Erosion Mixes consider season, soils, available moisture, temperature, slope and a host of other factors in their design.

Construction Cover Crop Mixes

Steep slopes, hard packed clay, acid or sterile soils, dry and hot or cold and wet weather, deep shade, standing water, boggy low areas and other seemingly impossible barriers are typical of revegetation and erosion control on construction and utility sites.

Wildlife Habitat Mixes

The secret to supporting increasing healthy populations of wildlife is establishing complete habitat. Habitat that supplies all the life sustaining needs for all ages, for all seasons, and against all threats. Our Wildlife Habitat Mixes promote Life-Cycle-Needs management.

About Us

Roundstone Native Seed has been growing and supplying high quality regionally adapted Native Seeds to the Eastern half of the US for over 20 years. We are farmers and conservationists and have grown from a small family-owned business to one of the largest seed providers in the East. Our success can be attributed to our commitment to clean high quality seed, development of Ecotypes adapted to each region we serve, and an experienced and knowledgeable staff dedicated to friendly helpful service. We focus on quality and service because every success we bring our Customers is a living demonstration and an incentive for others to use natives.

What sets us apart from other producers, in addition to our quality and service, is our development and production of regional ecotype seed, now being grown in six different states, for all the different parts of the country we serve. Regional ecotypes are seeds from plants that evolved in your area and are adapted to your local environmental conditions. They simply perform better.

We have a large selection of native seeds, seed mixes, naturalized seeds, and plant materials for any need you might have. Regardless of whether you're a landscape architect, contractor, wildlife enthusiast, conservationist, home gardener wanting wildflowers in your yard, or a farm owner looking to satisfy the requirements of a Farm Bill Program, we have the quality products you need and we would be more than happy to talk with you, answer your questions, and share our knowledge about natives with you.
